Here Ye! Here Ye! Princess Half Marathon
For us common folk Disney’s Princess Half Marathon opens for registration tomorrow at noon ET, 9 am for those like me on the west coast. I am coming to terms with the fact that I will most likely not be doing PHM this year. It just makes more since for me to do Tinker Bell and Wine & Dine and space the Disney trips out a bit more. I was hoping that I might be able to pull off adding Princess back into the mix, but I don’t think it is going to happen unless I get a job real soon.
If you are planning to take on the Glass Slipper Challenge be prepared to register as soon as it opens because the early registration spots did sell out so it will go fast. Even though I will not be running it this year I do plan to keep my eye on the runDisney registration page to see just how fast it does sell out.
Good luck to all of you registering tomorrow and please come back and share what you signed up for!

The registration craziness is in full swing. Looks like it will be sell out. Sadly I'm sitting this race out. I'm looking forward to trying some new races. Princess will always be in my heart!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. Princess was my first race and I did it the last 3 years, but it is getting to be a bit much for me and I would really like to expand my horizons a bit. I also hear W & D has a very different feel to it, and I have always wanted to go to WDW during the food and wine festival.
DeletePrincess is perfect timing for me to visit my future in-laws, so I think its going to turn into a tradition (2 vacations in one!). Jealous of your Wine and Dine though. That likes to fall on the weekend of my fiance's birthday so I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that one.
ReplyDeleteSure you can, just make it a couples get away. ;) I'm planning on doing it with my husband as an early anniversary present for us, without kids!
DeleteI'm in for the Glass Slipper Challenge! Super excited for this race. Turning it into a week long vacation... its only a few days after my birthday so perfect timing!
ReplyDeleteThat is great!! I was so disappointed I couldn't run it this year. I am hoping I can do GSC in the future.
